Farm and Ranch Photography

After over 45 years in commercial and advertising photography with the last 33 years as Senior Staff Photographer with Bass Pro Shops in Springfield Missouri I retired in early 2020. We live on a fifth generation working cattle operation in Greenfield Missouri. After taking a break from photography following nearly 50 years with a camera in hand, I decided to set about documenting the various tasks that take place daily to keep the operation running. What follows is an ongoing project to detail all of the small to large tasks involved in keeping the farm fully operational. This group of images are available for limited licensing stock purposes direct thru this site. Most images have numerous variants available should you need, as an example, more space on the right or more space on the left, more sky for copy, a vertical crop, or some other component. If the image you are interested in is close but not quite there, contact me and I can show other versions from the same shoot. Among the various categories of farm and ranch photography are Hereford and Angus cattle, cows, bulls, calves, cow calf pairs, feeding cattle in all seasons, mowing hay, raking hay, baling hay, moving hay bales, etc. There are also photos of equipment maintenance and chores such as fence building, fence repair, welding, skid steer land clearing, road surfacing and numerous other subjects.  Additionally, I have a video library of farm related subjects essentially in "B-Roll" format of a few seconds to several minutes in length which is also available for license. Most is shot in 4k and can be seen at my YouTube channel under the following links:
